According to The Mirror, the 19-year-old singer will serve as best man when his mum ties the knot with her long-term partner, Robin Twist.
It is understood Mr Twist helped raise Harry after the teenagers parents broke up when he was just seven-years-old.
Styles, who is also known for a number of high-profile relationships, is said to be "thrilled" at the honour of walking his mother down the aisle.
The wedding is expected to take place in Cheshire, near to were Styles' mother, Anne, lives. However, the final venue and details will not be confirmed to the wedding guests until shortly before the wedding so as to keep it a secret.
One Direction are currently on their Take me Home world concert tour, but Anne is thought to have scheduled her wedding at a time when all of the band members would be able to attend.
Styles has previously referred to his mum as his best friend, explaining: "I tell her everything, and she knows the truth."
