The Saturdays' singer Rochelle Humes has said she feels "so blessed" to be a mother.
The singer took to Twitter on Thursday to thank her fans for their "lovely messages" after she gave birth to her first child earlier this week.
On Monday, Rochelle's husband, JLS member Marvin Humes, confirmed the couple were now parents to a baby girl, Alaia-Mai.
Following the birth, 28-year-old Marvin wrote: "This morning we welcomed our baby girl Alaia-Mai Humes..Mum is doing great & baby is amazing! We are both overjoyed! Thanks for your love x"
Writing on her own account, Rochelle added: "Thanks so much for all of your lovely messages. I feel so so blessed. Alaia-Mai is just a little angel. We're all very happy. Thanks again x"
Describing her husband's affection for their child, she continued: "Marvin is a great daddy. Absolutely in love with his princess. Definitely a daddy's girl situation already started. So beautiful x"
Rochelle is the second member of the girl band to become a mother, after Una Healy gave birth to a daughter, Aoife Belle, with husband Ben Foden last year.
Frankie Sandford also recently announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Wayne Bridge, with the couple expecting their arrival later this year.
Rochelle and Marvin have been in a relationship since March 2010. They got engaged in December 2011 and married in July 2012 at Blenheim Palace.
