Frankie Sandford's 'Fat Bride' Worries

Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford is said to be worried about the weight she will gain during her pregnancy, Star magazine has said.

The 24-year-old announced earlier this month that she was expecting her first child with fiancé Wayne Bridge. Shortly before the announcement, the couple also confirmed they were to tie the knot, with many speculating that they would marry this summer.

However, it is thought Sandford has now told her friends she doesn't want to be a "fat bride".

The source said: "Frankie is very body conscious. She's used to being no bigger than a size 8.

"She's already crept up a dress size – it's surprised her that she's gained weight this early.

"She's joked to pals that she doesn't want to be a 'fat bride', and has told Wayne that the wedding will be sooner, not later."

The insider added: "She's dreamt of her big day for years and has a set idea of how she wants to look.

"She knows that if she wants to get married without a massive bump then she needs to move quickly."

The singer is also reported to be struggling with her emotions lately and has been getting advice from fellow band mates Una Healy – who is a mum-of-one – and Rochelle Humes, who is due to give birth to her first child soon.

Sandford and 32-year-old Bridge, who plays football for Brighton & Hove, have been dating since December 2010.
