Miley Cyrus has opened up about her much talked about relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth.
In an interview with Elle UK magazine, the singer dismissed recent rumours that the couple's relationship was in trouble.
Instead, the 20-year-old stressed the pair are as committed to each other as ever, but admitted that she made the decision to keep their relationship away from the public.
She explained: "We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it any more."
She also said she no longer used Twitter to express her emotions, adding: "We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight – into my life and my puppies and my house – and I just don’t feel they get that privilege any more.
"Like on my Twitter, I’m much more... not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff any more."
Hemsworth proposed to Cyrus in June last year after the couple met on the set of The Last Song in the summer of 2009.
