According to a report in the Daily Mail, the Twilight actress was spotted getting into a car similar to one owned by Sanders.
Stewart cheated on her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, with Sanders last year after the pair worked together on the movie Snow White and the Huntsman.
The 23-year-old was seen getting into a waiting car on Sunday night after dining with friends, with a man many have alleged to be Sanders.
Pattinson, who recently reunited with Stewart, is believed to have flown out of Los Angeles on the same night the photographs were taken.
Last July, the actress was forced to admit her affair with the 42-year-old director. The day the photos of her affair were released, Stewart issued a public apology to Pattinson, saying: "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Following the revelation, Stewart and Pattinson separated, while Liberty Ross – Sander's wife of ten years and mother of his two children – filed for divorce.
A representative for Stewart has yet to comment.
