The boyband member made the comments in an interview with New magazine.
Speaking about his plans for a family, the 27-year-old said his wife, Izzy Johnston, would have "ten children" right away if possible.
He said: "Maybe the timing's not great at the moment - the band are going on tour and that.
"If it was up to Izzy, we'd have ten children by now. She's two years older and she's like, 'I want children', but I'm cool with that. I want kids as well and I don't take it for granted because it's not necessarily the easiest thing to happen. We always say with our fingers crossed and touching wood that we'd like to have children, so we'll see."
When he was asked how many children they would like, Judd replied: "I say two and Izzy says four, so there's an obvious compromise – three!"
Judd met former Escala violinist Johnston when she appeared as part of the string section on McFly's 2005 concert tour. In May 2012, the couple were engaged and they married in December 2012.
