The couple who are 66 and 69 years of age respectively, married in 1963, the Daily Mail has said.
Shirley was 16 and Frank was 19 when they tied the knot after discovering Shirley was pregnant.
However, she has said the couple are still going strong 50 years later.
Speaking to the publication, Ms Hendley said her parents – who will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary soon – had set a good example for married life.
She added: "I'm just amazed that we made it to fifty years rather than being the youngest to do so. We're still very happy together, but I certainly wouldn't recommend young people doing what I did.
"I was terrified, but in those days you just got on with it - my parents said to me 'you've made your bed, lie in it'. So I did."
The couple married on 23 March, 1963, at Manchester Registry Office, after discovering Shirley's unplanned pregnancy. Their first son, Darren, was born three months after their wedding.
The couple have five children, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren..
