According to Digital Spy, the rocker took to his personal Facebook page to comment on the rumours.
It had been claimed that the couple – who have been married for 31 years – were living "separate lives" with a divorce expected to follow shortly.
However, Ozzy has dismissed the divorce rumours, but apologised to hos family, friends and fans as he blamed drugs for his recent behaviour.
He wrote: "For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs."
He added that he was in a "very dark place", but was "happy to say that I am now 44 days sober."
Addressing the divorce claims, he said: "Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I'm just trying to be a better person.
"I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period.........and my fans.
"God Bless, Ozzy"
Recently, the pair had been spotted without their wedding rings and Sharon was said to be moving in to a new home in LA while Ozzy was living in a small apartment nearby.
A spokeswoman for Sharon Osbourne subsequently told the Daily Mail that the pair were living apart due to work commitments and that they were not divorcing.
Ozzy is currently focusing on his upcoming tour with Black Sabbath while Sharon has been linked with a potential return to The X Factor.
