According to The Mirror, a source close to the television personality said the couple made the decision to delay their wedding due to the uncertainty regarding Lampard's future.
The 34-year-old footballer has yet to sign a new contract with his club Chelsea, so it is not yet known where he will be playing next season.
In recent months, he has been linked with moves to clubs Los Angeles Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Manchester United.
Speaking to The Mirror, the source claimed: "She and Frank really want to get married – they have been engaged for nearly two years.
"But they thought that as they have very little idea of where they could end up, the best thing was to cancel.
"They knew exactly what sort of wedding they wanted and everyone was looking forward to it but now it is just impossible. They will start thinking about it again when they know which club Frank will be playing at. Everything is so up in the air."
Bleakley and Lampard confirmed their engagement in June 2011. Last year, they were said to be planning a summer 2013 wedding.
The former Daybreak presenter was previously engaged to Dublin restaurant owner Christian Stokes, while Lampard was engaged to Spanish model Elen Rivas, before they split in 2008 after eight years together.
