Earlier this week, Westminster City Council approved plans to make use of the library for ceremonies as the old town hall is closed for some much-needed modernisation works.
The redevelopment project is work £50m.
Marylebone Town Hall is a popular wedding venue, with a number of celebrities having tied the knot there, including Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Dave Gilmour.
For couples wanting to marry now however, they will be switched to the library.
Westminster Council's Cabinet Member for the Community, Councillor Steve Summers, said: "Mayfair library has a great history and tradition of its own, and will be a superb venue for wedding ceremonies.
"Celebrities of the status of Paul McCartney chose Westminster as the place to tie the knot at the iconic Marylebone Town Hall.
"We are convinced that we have found a great alternative whilst this great building receives a much-needed revamp."
Westminster City Council said they would also be offering wedding ceremonies on the 18th floor at City Hall on Victoria Street, which offers views of the West End, Parliament and the London Eye.
The refurbishment work to Marylebone Town Hall is expected to be completed in 2015.
