Rumours that Van Outen had separated from her husband Lee Mead emerged after she was recently spotted on holiday alone in Dubai.
It is reported this is the second time this year the star has been on holiday by herself, leading to claims that the couple are no longer together.
However, a spokesman said Van Outen was "very upset" over the reports.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he affirmed: "Lee's out in Los Angeles doing auditions. They are 100% together."
And the star herself appeared to hit out at the rumours on social networking site Twitter. Writing to all her followers, she criticised the Daily Mirror for writing another "boring" story, before adding: "We're busy working parents!!".
A BBC source had claimed doubts were emerging over the couple's relationship last year when Van Outen was taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. They claimed Mead rarely turned up to support his wife during the run of the show.
"He came to the studio twice but I don't think he ever went to rehearsals. I know her friend took Betsy," an insider said.
"Rumours were already swirling around then that they didn't spend much time together. The show is difficult for all couples, but he wasn't even at the final to cheer her on."
The couple met after Mead appeared on talent show Any Dream Will Do, when Van Outen was a judge. They began dating in November 2007 and they married in April 2009 in the Seychelles. They have one daughter together, Betsy, who was born in 2010.
