The Saturdays singer took to Instagram to upload a photo of the couple and her diamond engagement ring, Digital Spy has said.
The 24-year-old posted the photo with the caption "Guess what?!!!!"
The singer has previously said she was "bored" of the continuous speculation over whether her boyfriend was going to propose and just last month, Sandford said in an interview that she would "definitely not" be getting engaged any time soon.
Speaking to OK! Magazine at the time, she said: "It's making it worse for him. He's definitely not going to do it. Everyone else is thinking about it more than I am."
In 2011, Sandford spoke of her desire to get married, but later revealed she was "feeling pressured" to wed her boyfriend.
Sandford has been dating Brighton & Hove Albion footballer, Wayne Bridge, for more than two years. She previously dated McFly star Dougie Poynter from 2008 to 2010.
