It is the 38-year-old's second child with husband Paul Hardcastle. Their daughter was born last Thursday.
The baby is still unnamed, but speaking to Hello! magazine, McAndrew described the newest addition to the family as "the most amazing thing ever!"
The new mother also took to Twitter to thank her fans for their words and messages of support following the birth.
She said: "Thank you so much for all your kind messages. Mum and baby fine. Such a miracle. So happy I could cry!"
The couple's baby girl comes after the former model suffered a miscarriage last year.
Speaking before the birth of her "miracle" daughter, McAndrew said she hadn't ruled out the possibility of adding to the family.
She said: "I'm enjoying my pregnancy so much that I'm wondering if I might have another baby quite soon after this one."
McAndrew and her partner also have a six-year-old son called Devon.
