On Friday, the singer and former America X Factor judge was spotted with new boyfriend Dave Lucado, the Daily Mail has said.
It is thought the couple were spending the week in Las Vegas, where Spears is believed to be close to signing a deal with Caesers Entertainment for a residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
Lucado is a field researcher for a law firm, and it's believed the couple have been dating for just over a month, but the 27-year-old has already been introduced to Spears' two children.
A source said: "Her family first made sure that David was a good influence before they let Britney get closer to him. The boys think of David as a fun play pal. It was a big step, she's very excited."
Spears was previously in a relationship with her one-time agent, Jason Trawick. They split up in January this year. The couple got engaged a month previously, but had been dating for three years.
