Sheridan Smith has confirmed she is still single – and has been for three years.
Speaking to The Mirror, the actress added that she was "happily single".
The 31-year-old, who has starred in Mrs Biggs and Two Pints Of Lager & A Packet of Crisps, did however admit that she is often rumoured to be in a relationship.
She said: "I've been single for three years. People have linked me with people, but I've always been single."
When asked further about her relationships, Smith admitted that she has been too busy the past year having starred in a number of television, movie and theatre projects.
She explained: "I’m enjoying working so much. People go: 'Why are you single?', but it’s because I actually love my job. I’m so grateful to be working. I like to think that, at 31, I’ve still got time to put things on hold, like a family.
"It’s all going so well right now, I don’t want to ruin all that. This could all end tomorrow and I always touch wood and wonder how long it’s going to last."
Smith was previously in a relationship with her Gavin & Stacey co-star James Corden before the couple split in 2009.
