According to the Daily Star, the singer allegedly asked for £2.5m to sing a 25-minute set at a wedding being organised by Vivian Imerman.
Imerman, who is better known as the man behind fruit juice Del Monte, is reported to have asked the singer to perform at his daughter Megan's wedding this week.
However, a friend of Imerman told the Daily Star: "Vivian is planning a lavish wedding. But he was surprised when he was told she'd cost £2.5m. Despite his bulging bank balance even he thought it was too expensive and is looking at other artists."
Three years ago, Imerman booked Amy Winehouse to perform at his eldest daughter Bianca's wedding.
Earlier this month, the Skyfall singer was rumoured to have been invited to sing at Jennifer Aniston's wedding to Justin Theroux after they met at last month's Oscars.
