Rapper Tinie Tempah is reported to have swapped phone numbers with Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz, according to The Sun.
A source said: "There's quite a big age difference but Tinie and Cameron have struck up a close friendship. They exchanged numbers after being introduced at a pal's party."
There could also be a date on the cards for the couple as it has been reported that the actress is a big fan of hip-hop.
The source added: "They're already talking about meeting up next time he's in LA or she's in London."
Cameron Diaz has previously dated a number of high-profile celebrities, including Justin Timberlake, John Mayer Adam Levine and New York Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
British rapper Tempah is currently preparing for the release of his second album which is due in the summer.
His debut album, Disc-Overy, topped the charts on its release in October 2010.
