Days after filing divorce papers, Demi Moore is reported to have asked her former husband for spousal support, according to the Daily Mail.
The 50-year-old actress officially responded to Ashton Kutcher's divorce filing last week, with a formal request for alimony.
The move comes despite the couple having no children together.
Kutcher sought to legally end his marriage to Moore in December 2012, and the LOL star confirmed recent rumours as she filed her own papers in an LA court, citing "irreconcilable differences".
A source close to Moore is reported to have told TMZ the actress decided on the move because she is "really hurt" by Kutcher's actions.
It has been alleged that the Two And A Half Men actor had an affair with a woman named Sara Leal shortly before the couple separated.
Kutcher and Moore are apparently in negotiations for a divorce settlement, with the actress's legal team believed to be asking for as much money as possible to secure the best deal.
Representatives for Moore and Kutcher have not issued any comment on this latest legal development.
