Miley Cyrus has fuelled rumours her relationship to fiancé Liam Hemsworth is on the rocks, after she was spotted without her engagement ring, according to the Daily Mail.
The former Hannah Montana star has however hit back at the claims via her Twitter account.
Cyrus took to the social network, tweeting that she was "sick" of the claims that 23-year-old Hemsworth had cheated on her.
She wrote: "I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining".
A source close to the singer also told People magazine that while the couple did have troubles, Cyrus was still intent on marrying the actor.
They said: "Miley still wants to get married. [But] Miley and Liam have had some problems that they are working through.
"They have always had a very passionate relationship. They have a very strong physical attraction, but have very different personalities and backgrounds. This makes their relationship very complicated."
Cyrus and Hemsworth first began dating in June 2009. In August 2010, it was confirmed the couple had split up. They rekindled their relationship and in June 2012, Cyrus confirmed they were engaged.
