The former American Idol judge has become an eternal bachelor dating a string beautiful women including Carmen Electra, Sinitta and Paula Abdul, yet failing to marry.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Simon's reluctance to get married is legendary and many people wind him up (poke fun at him) about it. He's had countless girlfriends and even been engaged, but he's never let anyone tie him down permanently.
"Now finally he's tied the knot... for charity. Comic Relief are keeping the identity of the lucky lady (or man) secret. Simon gets stick (criticised) for taking himself seriously, but this shows he doesn't mind laughing at himself."
The clip will air on 15 March as part of Comic Relief's Red Nose Day fundraiser.
