New husband Kieran Hayler and the glamour model have returned to the UK after their wedding ceremony in the Bahamas last week.
Lawyers drew up the legal document to protect Katie's fortune should her third marriage fail.
A source told The Mirror: "She loves Kieran and hopes this marriage lasts but realises there is a chance it could go the same way as her last two.
"She wanted to make sure she was covered as she has worked hard for her money."
The pair only been dating since December.
She has previously been married to Peter Andre and Alex Reid.
