The reality dating show is said to have been cancelled by Channel 5.
The broadcaster has cut the show after two series, reports The Sun.
Rugby player Gavin Henson was the leading man in the channel's first series, while Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews took over in the second series.
An insider said told the paper: "The show didn't do hugely well last year and Channel 5 are now giving it a rest.
"But it is a good format and the owners have been sounding out other broadcasters to see if anyone else is up for taking it on."
The Bachelor continues to do well in the US where it has began its 17th season on ABC.
