German magazine Bunte asked Klum how serious the relationship was and she replied: "Yes! I'm in love!"
She feels Martin has her children's best interests at heart.
"They like him very much," she said. "This is also one reason why I'm so fond of him. He's been helping me for four years now. And he takes wonderful care of the kids. He plays with them, he protects them. I trust him."
Klum's ex-husband Seal recently hinted that Klum and Kristen were involved during their marriage, though he later denied the claim.
Klum will host the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards on November 11.
