London-born singer Seal hit out at his ex, saying he "would have thought Heidi would have shown a little more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were".
Speaking on a US chat show last night, Heidi said she is dating bodyguard Martin Kirsten after knowing him for four years.
Asked if it was a serious relationship, she said: "I don't even know if I can call it that, you know? It just started so I don't know. I don't know where it's gonna go.
"He's a great man, you know, and we just got to know each other from a completely different side."
Heidi filed for divorce from Seal in January and her relationship with the bodyguard was revealed last month when pictures emerged of the pair on holiday in Sardinia.
Last night, Heidi repeated her denial that she had ever cheated on Seal, and expressed regret that their marriage was over.
She said: "It's not true. I've never looked at another man while I was with him.
"I'm someone who believes in a fairy tale and when I said 'I do', I meant forever. But I don't know... You never know what happens.
"Life changes. It's that road with all those bumps and holes and you're trying to struggle through them. And I don't know, we just couldn't make it work, you know?"
