A new show to be aired in the Republic of Ireland asks couples to hand over the organisation of their wedding day to their mums.
The production team behind The Mother Of All Weddings, to be aired on RTE, said the show would "give a uniquely Irish take on the ever popular area of wedding programmes".
Casting producer Nicola Ronaghan called for interested couples to get in touch, saying the prize at the end of the series was a five-star honeymoon in Dubai.
She said: "In Ireland, 25,000 people get married every year and it's big business. It's a life stage that everyone is involved in, whether they, or a member of their family gets married, or they are invited to one.
"There is no other wedding show that exists where the couple hands over the reins to their mothers."
The format of the new show will see the mothers of the bride and groom pitted against each other to become chief wedding planner.
Couples should apply to take part before December by e-mailing weddings@animo.ie, if they want to be considered.
