Do You Stalk Your Ex On Facebook?

The majority of Facebook users have admitted to spying on their ex’s on the social network.

A massive 88% of people said they were guilty of using the site to spy on someone after a breakup, research from University of Western Ontario finds.

Plus 74 per cent use it to keep tabs on their ex’s new love interests.

Just 48 per cent stay ‘friends’ with their exs after the split, allowing acess to updates and photos. Other snoop on their ex through mutual friends’ profiles without detection.

“It’s so interesting right now, so different from before this technology existed,” media studies grad student Veronika Lukacs, who wrote her thesis on the topic said, “Once you broke up in the past, it was over”.
