Gillian McMillan, 40, who wed Gavin Wilson at the Lochgreen House in Troon on Friday was accompanied by Lucky the sheep and miniature husky Fifi.
Mum-of-three Gillian, from West Kilbride, Ayrshire, told the Daily Record: “I think my guests were a bit surprised when a trailer turned up with Lucky inside.
“Fifi and Lucky are the only pets we have and they are very much part of the family. There was no way I could celebrate my special day without having them here.
“They both mean the world to me. Lucky sees me as his mother, as his real mum died a few hours after giving birth.
“He only comes to my bleat – we have a very special bond.
“I nursed Lucky when he almost died when he was born a week before lambing season.
“Even though he is a fully grown sheep, I still visit him every day to give him his bottle and to groom him.
“Fifi and Lucky go for walks – he still thinks he is a dog and they are inseparable.”
