Animal activist and owner of the bride Wendy, 38, pawed out $250,000 for the ceremony in New York.
Tickets to the big day cost $250 and funds raised went to The Humane Society of New York, a charity which provides free veterinary care for sick animals.
Baby Hope wore a custom made doggie dress and veil costing $6,000, whilst groom Chilly wore a rainbow tuxedo with matching coloured dye in his fur.
The venue cost $56,000, $29,000 was spent on flowers and a $15,000 orchestra played.
Canines sampled fine meats and dog treats from luxury pet caterers Halo, whilst humans dined on a lavish $5,000 sushi buffet.
“This could be the funniest, goofiest and most adorable event ever - we all love our pets to pieces.
“I’m so pleased to see my little Baby Hope get married for such a good cause,” Wendy said.
An official from the Guinness book of World Records confirmed the pet wedding was the most expensive ever.
