Growth In Indian 'Bridalplasty' Market

Many older brides are choosing to have Botox injections to ensure they look good on their big day.

Indian women are increasingly waiting until they are in their 30s or 40s to marry because they want to establish a career, The Oman Tribune reports.

Industry insiders estimate around 65 per cent of women are not in a rush to say 'I Do' while 45 per cent of older brides elect to have Botox before the ceremony.

The 'older bride' trend has lead to an increase in wrinkle filler treatments before the big day to get rid of frown lines and crow’s feet.

Vandana Chatrath, a cosmetic dermatologist based in Delhi, said: “Women plan their wedding and cosmetic treatments well in advance with the help of experts. They do a Botox trial run about three-four months ahead of the wedding day.”
