The royal couple are living with former England Sevens captain Ollie Phillips.
The Queen’s granddaughter, 30, and her husband, 33, let the 29-year-old player move in this January after he left French club Stade Francais and joined Gloucester rugby club.
A friend told the newspaper: "Ollie was about to start looking for a place to stay when Mike and Zara offered him the chance to move in with them and he’s stayed since.
"It might seem an unorthodox start to married life and not many women would love the idea of living with their husband’s best mate but they are very chilled out.
"Ollie has friends round all the time, and after a big night out Zara even cooks breakfast for everyone. Ollie has known the family for years."
