David Shamah, 30, popped the question to beau Alice Becker who was on a shopping trip with her mum and aunt.
As Alice reached seaport shops outdoor speakers started blasting the song, "Marry You" by Bruno Mars, her friends began dancing then parted into two rows revealing Shamah down on one knee.
"I have no words to describe it," said Becker, 24, told the paper, "I’m just so happy."
"I knew whatever he was going to do would be over the top," she continued, "That’s how he is."
