Lori Eichhorn and Jeremy Powers, from Bay City, are set to tie the knot in an Irish pub on Saturday, Mlive reports.
The couple, both 43, will exchange vows under the iconic upside-down Christmas tree at O'Hares Bar & Grill.
"I wanted something different and I thought it'd be cool," Lori Eichhorn said. "People were excited about St. Patrick's Day. It's a big deal around here."
"I'm half Irish and half Polish, she's no Irish," said Jeremy.
They plan to wear jeans and t-shirts. Lori is opting for one that reads "Irish bride" on the front and "Mrs. Powers 2012" on the back. Jeremy will rock a tuxedo-printed number.
Lori will sport what she calls an Irish tiara - fuzzy, green, with the words "feeling lucky" and her bouquet will be green-tipped white carnations with shamrocks.
Guest have been told to dress casual in jeans and t-shirts although St.Patrick day dress is welcome.
