A 'flash-mob' of around 25 models from one of Aberdeen’s leading show production company and modelling agencies, Premier Productions, staged a two and a half minute choreographed routine to a selection of hand-picked wedding tracks without warning, adding a bit of fun and excitement to the January sales whilst promoting this year’s wedding exhibition.
Having attracted over 3,000 people last year, this year’s YWE will take place in the AECC’s Press & Journal arena and is set to host a record breaking 206 exhibitors.
Simon M. Morgan, Director of YWE commented: "We wanted to do something which was a bit of fun and capture shopper’s attention whilst raising awareness of this year’s exhibition, a bridal flash mob is certainly a unique idea."
Simon continued: "We look forward to welcoming everyone to this weekend’s annual event, now in its 17th year. The show attracted over 3,000 visitors in 2011 and will see record breaking exhibitors this weekend. Showcasing a complete spectrum of wedding related companies - from the finest in bridal wear, wedding cakes, flowers and jewellery, to cars, photography and venues – there is something to suit every budget."
The wedding show will be open from 10am to 5pm on both days - Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th January, 2012. Tickets cost £10 for adults, with children under 16 free. A group of four receives entry for £35. For further information or to pre-order tickets visit www.yourweddingexhibition.com or call 0845 126 7842. Tickets are also available on the door on the day.
