A study by Villanova University in Philadelphia, in America found that ugly people are bad at online dating and that good-looking singles dating on the web actually write better dating profiles.
The survey by academics showed that it isn’t as simple as picking a flattering picture and posting interesting and engaging information about oneself. The results of 100 women surveyed revealed that the male daters who were physically charming wrote the most alluring profiles and therefore were more able to communicate their personalities online.
The findings suggest that nice-looking men are able to convey their confidence and attractiveness in the self-descriptions, and unattractive online daters are not successful even after disguising their worst features.
