BBC Targets 'Disaster Weddings'

Wedding disasters are to be avoided thanks to the BBC.

The My Fair Wedding series team rescue 'soon-to-be-disaster weddings' and teach the brides how a wedding should be done.

They said that most girls want to have the perfect wedding day but ask if there really such a thing as 'perfect'?

So, with everything from plastic flowers and exploding balloon columns – the question is, can the team turn this disaster around in time for their big day?

Every couple wants to bring in something unique and special to their wedding that represents who they are – whether culturally or traditionally.

Also featured in the series are a couple who have planned a turquoise-themed wedding, a ceremony with farm animals, and a Nascar-loving (stock-car racing) fiancée who wants to celebrate her Irish roots by having a 'green' wedding complete with shamrocks and Irish whisky.

The question is, can the gang work their magic on these fashionably deluded brides and grooms or will some couples plans prove too bizarre, even for them?

BBC Lifestyle is available exclusively to DStv on Channel 180.

It provides a wealth of inspiration for home, family and life. The channel dishes up six strands to entertain engage and inspire viewers with some of the world's top style gurus.
