Jacqueline Barrie, 43, married her second husband in June last year at Aberdeen’s registry office, however, she never divorced her first husband Eaun Fleming.
Fleming saw the pictures and immediately reported it to the police.
Barrie admitted a bigamy charge at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and was fined £500.
Defence lawyer Dave Sutherland said his client had met with lawyers to discuss divorce proceedings and she accepted she should have waited until it was finalised.
Mr Sutherland said: “She was married to Mr Fleming from 1994. There were two daughters from that relationship.
“That marriage was an abusive and violent one at the hands of Mr Fleming, my client left him in November 2008.”
Barrie officially divorced her husband in April.
