Man Seeks To Recreate Special Wedding Moments

A man is planning to sue his wedding photographer after he missed two of the most important moments of his special day in 2003, the New York Times reported.

Todd J Remis, who is now divorced, is suing H&H Photographers claiming the last dance and the bouquet toss were missed.

Remis is seeking a refund of $4,100, but he is also demanding $48,000 to recreate the entire wedding so it can be re-shot by another photographer.

However, it is understood his now ex-wife has returned to her native Latvia.

Justice Doris Ling-Cohan of State Supreme Court in Manhattan has allowed the case to proceed to determine if there is a breach of contract.

"This is a case in which it appears that the 'misty watercolour memories' and the 'scattered pictures of the smiles…Left behind' at the wedding were more important than the real thing."

According to the New York Times Mr Remis testified that he needs to have the wedding recreated exactly as it was so 15 per cent of the wedding that was not shot can be shot.

The case continues.
