Kardashian married basketball player Kris Humphries just over two months ago but their marriage has been dogged by rumours from the get go.
Humphries is said to be "devastated" by the shock announcement and camp Kardashian is saying that her husband used her to "chase fame".
It is understood that when divorce was mentioned Kris 'went into full Hollywood gear, talking about branding the Kris Humphries name with cologne, nightclub appearances'.

Kardashian is heading from LA to Australia and was spotted in LAX airport with a bare hand.
An official statement about the divorce is due to be issued today, the marriage lasted only 72 days.
