A dating website has been launched to connect rich people with 'trophy' dates.
MyTrophyDate.com, a new website operated by MTD Online Ventures LLC, offers matchmaking and event planning services.
Website memberships fall into one of two categories; Affluent Individuals or Trophies. Affluent individuals are men or women who are successful and financially secure. Trophies are women or men who are very attractive, many of whom possess other desirable qualities, such as intelligence, ambition, and independence.
"We chose to provide our services to financially secure individuals and those who would appeal to them because we then eliminate one of the biggest issues couples face…money.
"We don’t think money can buy happiness, but when everything else in life is good, financial security can be the final link," said Ashley LaPorte, Co-founder and top matchmaker of MyTrophyDate.com.
Certain membership types offer perks, such as a spot on the websites featured list, personal matchmaking, event services, and background checks.
The site claims to cater to those looking for any type of relationship; friendships, casual dates, sugar daddy / sugar mama / sugar baby arrangements, love, or marriage.
