“Hearing the Harp as I walked down the aisle at our wedding brought a tear to my eye. Pachelbel’s Canon sounded so beautiful…..everyone thought it was a lovely touch and gave the day an extra romantic feel.”
“Thank you for playing so beautifully at our wedding reception at The Four Seasons Hotel, Carlingford. Your music helped to create a very relaxed atmosphere that fitted perfectly with our special day.”
Wedding Ceremony (Church / Civil ceremony)Usually Sharon will play a mixture of music (Irish traditional music, light classical music and some popular music) with a calm feel before the church or civil ceremony to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
Sharon will arrive approximately 40 minutes before the ceremony to set-up and play as your guests arrive. This includes playing music during:
- The entrance of the bride
- During the signing of the register
- As the wedding party and guests leave
Sharon is also available for a free consultation where you can discuss and choose the best repertoire for your special day.
Drinks receptionThis includes a selection of music to greet the guests as they arrive from the ceremony and while the bride and groom have their photographs taken. (Sharon can even play outside, weather permitting of course)
Wedding mealSharon will play a selection of music from the moment the guests come in to dine, up to coffee or speeches.
Ceremony and drinks receptionSharon’s fee is based on a two hour minimum charge and includes a free consultation to discuss music for the event if required. There may be an additional charge to cover travelling expenses to and from venues.
The MusicThe harp is, without doubt, the most romantic of instruments. Many brides have arrived to the elegant and distinctive sound of the harp and it provides a relaxing and non-intrusive ambiance to the reception.
