Paul from Paul Smyth Photography is a professional photographer based in Coleraine on the beautiful North Coast of Ireland. Providing a young and fresh approach to photography he is willing to travel throughout Ireland and the U.K. to capture your special memories.



Paul started his professional career at the age of 19 when he was accepted for the Northern Ireland Film Commission Focus Scheme. Working as Camera assistant on a range of documentaries, feature films and television commercials, this jumpstarted his career and enabled Paul to work alongside some of the film industries leading cinematographers. As well as snapping up an award for Young Cinematic Film Maker of the Year in 2000 he also gained the privilege to work along with the Fox News Presidential team during President Clintons farewell visit to Ireland and also President Bush’s Inauguration at the White House in Washington D.C.



Inspired by the work of countless Photography Directors, Paul decided to move into photography full time in 2003 and has since gained a wide range of experience in many aspects of photography, including, News, P.R., Wedding and Portraiture. His friendly, non-obtrusive approach to photography has meant he has acquired a diverse clientele who return time and time again.
