If you're after a lively upbeat group that appeals to all tastes, Pure Blarney are for you. PB perform at pubs, clubs and festivals all over Ireland. The line up of the group is vocal, guitar, pipes, whistles, fiddle, bass, drums.

As well as our own material the band has a large repertoire, covering the sounds of Van Morrison, Dire Straits, Pogues, Saw Doctors, Rod Stewart, Runrig, Waterboys and much more. They can also perform lively upbeat instrumentals that are sure to keep people in the party mood.

No fillers here folks, just feet on the floor and nights being made. To quote one experience, "The Craic was contagious".



Pure Blarney have in the past performed in New York, France, Germany and at festivals all over Ireland. They have also recorded 3 CDs, the most recent being recorded live at The Braid, Ballymena during a sell out concert.

Service Music
Pure Blarney can provide music for your wedding service, whether it is a traditional church wedding or a civil ceremony. The group can perform hymns, love songs or instrumentals.

The instruments used for this are guitar, low whistles, uilleann pipes and of course our singer. Common Songs/Tunes: Down by the Salley Gardens Red Wine and Roses Blowers Daughter Planxty Irwin Pachelbel's Cannon She Moved Through the Fair Si Beag Si Mohr Sweet 16 If the couple has a special song the group will rehearse and perform it on your day at no extra cost.

Highland Piper
Historically the Pipes are used to make an announcement and stir the emotions.

Our Piper can play at the entrance of your corporate function as your guests arrive and then during the meal can give a ten - fifteen minute recital.

If you are having a dinner to celebrate Burns Night he can play 'A man's a man for a' that' to lead in the Haggis for the Address to take place.



At a wedding the pipes can play as your guests arrive then announce the arrival of the Bride. Then as the service comes to an end he will play a fitting tune to celebrate the newly weds. It is also a popular choice to have the piper lead the Bride and Groom to the top table.
