Mel Sykes 'Prefers To Date Younger Men'

Melanie Sykes has said that she prefers to date men who are younger than her.

The 47-year-old's comments shortly after she was romantically linked to singer Olly Murs, who is 33.

According to reports, the couple have been secretly dating over the past year after being introduced by a friend and then hitting it off over their shared love of fitness.


While Murs has since appeared to hit out at the reports, Sykes is quoted by The Sun as saying how she prefers to be in a relationship with a younger man.

She is quoted as saying: "You don't tend to meet that many 40-year-old men who want to lark around. I always go for younger men. I'm very silly."
