The former S Club 7 singer took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to post a number of tweets, which have since been deleted.
His comments, however, come just days after Hannah branded her former boyfriend as "cringey" and "broke" in response to an interview he gave where he blamed the singer for ending their relationship in order to concentrate on her career.
On Tuesday, Paul's tweets included philosophical musings and lasted for a number of hours.
The messages read: "Appearances are of 4 kinds: - 1) things are as they appear to be, 2) they neither are not appear to be...
"3) they are but do not appear to be... 4) or they are not and yet appear to be. Epictetus.' (sic)."
The 40-year-old later wrote: "Thanks for the DM's of support people think 'stand your ground bro' and 'you don't need that negativity in your life' your guys are awake!' (sic)."
Another read: "Rise above people rise above", with another claming: "Like a flaming Phoenix rising our of the ashes of its former self. Or a caterpillar that been crystallised and then fly' (sic)."
