The couple – played by Adam Woodyatt and Laurie Brett, respectively – are due to marry for the second time during one of the soap's live episodes next month. The episodes are part of the soap's 30th anniversary celebrations.
The characters first tied the knot on the show in 2007, but Jane left Albert Square – and her husband behind. After returning to the show, the pair rekindled their relationship and Jane proposed to Ian on Christmas Eve. Their wedding has been set for 19 February.
Those working on the show have revealed a shortlist of songs, one of which the public can vote to have played at their ceremony.
They are 'The Power of Love' by Jennifer Rush, 'I Want to Know What Love Is' by Foreigner, 'You're the Inspiration' by Chicago, 'That Ole Devil Called Love' by Alison Moyet and 'There Must be an Angel (Playing with my heart)' by Eurythmics.
Votes can be cast via the EastEnders website.
