Armstrong started the conversation after she spotted photographs of 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara's sparkler. Falling in love with the diamond, she then took to the social networking site to let her boyfriend know.
She wrote: "@JamesLockie86 this is the one I want (sic)" alongside an emoticon of a thumbs up.
Her partner was quick to respond, with the message: "Do you now?! You don't want much do you!!!..... you will have to wait and see!! @Daniarmstrong88 (sic)."
Armstrong and Lock have dated for more than a year. In 2014, their relationship was said to be in trouble, after a number of arguments. In October, the boutique owner revealed she had miscarried the couple's child earlier in the year and they were trying to repair their relationship.
