'Undateables' Couple Tie The Knot

A couple who met on Channel 4 show, The Undateables, last year, have tied the knot.

Brent Zillwood, 23, and Challis Orme, 26, met a year ago and are the first couple from the programme to marry. The show focuses on people with disabilities who are attempting to find love.

Zillwood, who has Tourette's Syndrome, swore at his now-wife just seconds into their first date, but despite knowing about the condition when they met, Orme has admitted she wasn't worried. She added that she was too nervous to worry about her partner's disorder.

Following their first date, the couple continued to see each other and six months later, they returned to where they first met – a pub in Exeter. According to The Sunday Mirror, it was here when Zillwood gave her a scrapbook of their relationship together and on the last page, he had written: "What happens next depends on how you answer my next question."

When he asked his partner to marry him, she said yes.

The pair travelled to Las Vegas just before Christmas where they tied the knot.

Speaking to the publication, Zillwood admitted he is "[the] happiest I've ever been", while his wife added: "I didn't know much about it [Tourette's Syndrome] and it was a bit shocking at first but once he explained it to me I realised there was nothing he could do about it.

"But I fancied him straight away and I've never been self-conscious about it. I love him for lots of reasons."
