The actor revealed the news in an interview with E! News on Tuesday.
He didn't share any details of his wedding to 'Chosen' co-star Sarah Roemer, however, adding that he tries his best to keep his relationship out of the spotlight.
"I'm a romantic. I'm a family guy. I want that core," he admitted. "I tend to keep everything quiet. I love my life. That's the part that I keep for myself."
The 33-year-old then later dropped another bombshell about his private life – revealing that the couple are about to become parents.
A representative for the actor later confirmed the news, saying: "Chad and Sarah are extremely happy and excited, and enjoying their life together. We please ask that their privacy be respected at this special and personal time."
It will be the first child for the couple, who started dating in early 2014.
