Price, who is taking part in the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother (CBB), had initially vowed to divorce her partner following his revelation that he had cheated on her with two of her best friends. However, she changed her mind and said she would stand by Hayler as he underwent treatment for a sex addiction. She also kept a close eye on her husband over the last number of months by monitored his phone calls and emails, as well as forbidding him from spending the night away from her.
The 36-year-old is now said to be happy that her partner will not stray again, and her agreement to take part in CBB is further proof that she trusts him.
Speaking to Reveal magazine, a source is quoted as saying: "After a year of punishment, Katie is taking a major leap of faith and is giving Kieran back his freedom.
"She's headed into the Celebrity Big Brother house, leaving him home alone with the kids, has allowed him to set up a new Twitter account, is encouraging him to reconnect with his old friends and is ready to let him live a 'normal life' again. She wouldn't have agreed to do CBB if she still had trust issues with Kieran."
The insider added: "Katie believes the sex addiction therapy has worked. She's ready to let Kieran have a normal life again.
"So, even though it's going to be really difficult for her, she's trusting Kieran and saying, 'I'm not checking up on you anymore - now you have to be strong and disciplined enough not to take advantage of that.'"
Price and Hayler, a part-time builder, married in the Bahamas in January 2013, a number of weeks after they first started dating. They have two children together, a son named Jett Riviera, who was born in August 2013, and a daughter, Bunny, born in August 2014.
Price is also a mother to Harvey, 12, Junior, nine, and seven-year-old Princess from previous relationships.
