It will be the first child for the 40-year-old and her boyfriend Clark Mallon.
The couple, who have been in a relationship for three years, announced their pregnancy news in September 2014.
Now, the Extra TV correspondent has said she is expecting a baby girl.
Speaking to People magazine, she admitted: "I have always said I would be happy with a boy or girl, as long as the baby is healthy. But deep down inside I think I've always wanted a baby girl.
"Clark and I are so excited and can’t wait for the big day."
Seymour, who famously dated Simon Cowell for six years, remains good friends with the music mogul and said that he was one of the few people she first told about her pregnancy.
At the time, she told Hello! magazine: "He's [Simon] so thrilled for us. We were having dinner in LA and I told him and he was over the moon. Actually, immediately after congratulating me the first thing he said was he had to be the godfather.
"Then he said it was perfect timing with his son Eric being so young and he hoped I would have a baby girl so he could set her up with Eric and they could date. 'How perfect would that be,' he said. Typical Simon."
